It was an ambitious project from the outset. Says Erkki Ertesuo, one of the founders: "We really wanted to create quality, and it was a long time in planning. We did a very thorough job." Indeed, the "floating" floor construction, unheard of at the time, is now a standard feature in every major studio in the world.

The financial backers at the finnvox studios, Kurt & Kaius Juuranto as well as Count Berg, all from Lejos Inc. are assembled around the model. Finnvox was owned by Lejos Inc. until the late 80's.
