Studio C is a much-used mixing and overdubbing facility centrally situated within the Finnvox building. Originally built in 1980, the 16' x 16' control room has since been extensively modified. It now houses a Solid State Logic 4040 G console (40 channels installed) with the SSL Primary Computer. Main monitoring is from Genelec supported by Yamaha NS-10 and Auratone loudspeakers. The adjacent studio space is 22' x 16', with a separate windowed isolation booth overlooking the control room. Studio C is mainly hosted by the legendary engineer Mikko Karmila.
